On my father’s side were understand it back then, later on, such faith has pulled me through all delicate life situations.landlords, and distinguished merchants and craftsmen, while on my mother’s side they were all nationally awaken freedom fighters within the troops of the legendary IMRO. My father, engineer Tomislav Petrov (1936‐2014), a chemist by basic training University of Zagreb, Croatia), but a justice‐loving eccentric by choice nourished my affection towards natural sciences during my childhood. My mother, Mrs. Mariya‐Magdalena Blagoeva Garbeska, a forward thinking but gentlewomen in her soul, taught me how to value one’s freedom and dignity. Both my grandmothers, Mrs. Stevka Angeleva Cvetkova (1899‐1994) on father’s side, and Mrs. Milevoya Christova Yaneva (1915‐1997) on mother’s side, have perseveringly taught me Christian values. Although I did not understand it back then, later on such faith has pulled me through all delicate life situations.

Over the years, the white town of Zagreb and the lovely people that I have been attached to all this time have inevitably traced my life voyage…
