Professor Jan Czernuszka (BSc(Hons) (London), ARSM, PhD (Cambs) MA(Oxon)) is a Lecturer in the Department of Materials, where has been a recent  Chair of Faculty.  He is Head of the Biomaterials Group and has published over 100 papers.  He won the CBI/Toshiba Year of Invention Award for the development of bone analogues, and the ICIS Alpah Innovator of the Year Award for Oxtex Ltd– a spinout from his work. Jan Czernuszka is also Tutor in Materials and Fellow of Trinity College. He has been Dean of Trintiy College and will become vice President in October 2017.
