Lise Marie Lacroix

Associate Professor

Lise-Marie Lacroix isassociateprofessor at Université Toulouse III-LPCNO. She is currently co-head of the international TALEM laboratory (Transpyrenean Associated Laboratory for Electron Microscopy, Spain-France). She has a dual physics and chemistry educational background. She ranked 1st from the Physics department at Institut National des Sciences Appliquées (INSA) Toulouse, after working at Canon Research Center (Japan) and EU-Joint Research Center (Italy). She won 8 prizes among which the phD award from the French Chemical Society for her thesis on the synthesis of Fe nanoparticles using organometallic chemistry. She recently developed new thematic fields based on nanoparticles with outstanding physical properties (ultrathin Au nanowires, Pt nanostars and Co Nanorods) combining chemical synthesis, controlled assembly (using external magnetic and/or electrostatic fields) and integration onto devices.
