Dr. Arif Uddin, a post graduate in Life science from Assam University, Silchar, India (2007). After, he obtained Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from the Assam University, Silchar, India. During his doctoral degree, he was awarded JRF-MANF (Junior Research Fellowship-Maulana Azad National Fellowship) in 2011 form University Grant Commission (UGC), India. In 2013, he was awarded SRF-MANF (Senior Research Fellowship) University Grant Commission (UGC), India. He received training on Pharmacology laboratory from Institute of Bio resources and Sustainable Resources (IBSD), Imphal, India. He has been involved in a broad spectrum of life sciences such as Molecular Neurobiology, Cancer Biology, Pharmacology, Computational molecular biology and biostatistics, Parasitology and Mitochondrial genetics.

     He is currently working as Assistant Professor, Department of Zoology, Moinul Hoque Choudhury Memorial Science College, Algapur, Hailakandi, India.  He published more than 24 peer-reviewed papers relevant to a wide variety of areas e.g., Neurotoxicity, Cancer Biology, mitochondrial and nuclear genetics. He has been awarded HRD Long-Term Fellowship in Indian institute from Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
