Biography

Dr. Liang Qiao is currently a Lecturer at School of Materials Science, the University of Manchester, UK. After receiving his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Beihang University at 2009, he continued his career as Research Fellows at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) and Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) in USA. His research interests include understanding, creating and designing advanced artificial heterostructures of complex oxide materials with novel functionalities, and applying them towards next-generation information technology and energy applications.
