I received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in computer science from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Malaysia, in 2002 and 2005, respectively. I have completed my Ph.D. in the field of Artificial Intelligence at Osaka Prefecture University (Japan) in 2010. I have experience in private sectors for about two years whereas I have worked for two famous legal firms as an ICT consultant, designer and developer. I have worked in UTM since 2006 until 2017. And then continue my academic profession in Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK) until now. I am now a professor and a director for Institute For Artificial Intelligence and Big Data in UMK. My research areas are Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Bioinformatics. My research applications are gene expression, cancer microarray and metabolic engineering.
