Dr. Nelcy Della Santina Mohallem is Ph.D. in Applied Physics and author of several scientific publications. She is full Professor of physical-chemistry, material science and nanoscience and nanotechnology in the Universidade Federal of Minas Gerais, UFMG, Chemistry Department, since 1992. She is responsible by the Laboratory of Nanostructured Materials and member of Center for Microscopy of UFMG. Member of the International Association of Advanced Materials, she had been honored with “IAAM Scientist Medal” of the year 2016. With the large experience in coordination of several academic projects, including projects in collaboration with Brazilian companies. She created a company, spin-off of the Laboratory of Nanostructured Materials, Nanum Nanotecnologia SA.
