Dr. shrok employed at 1982 as an engineer and assistance scientific researcher in Iraqi Atomic EnergyOrganization. She Lead microscopic examination team in materials laboratories. At1989 -1991 she supervised nondestructive testing of fuel rods in hot cells, taking intoconsideration laboratory roles in nondestructive testing, LamaLaboratories- Iraqi AtomicEnergy Organization.1992 – 2002 she became a head of alloys department/Iraqi Organization of Atomic Energy. During this period she was focused in preparation of different compound alloys like (Na15Pb4 ) that used in TELL,different kinds of alloys used in ceramics bonding, dental fillings materials, andevaluation them by means of chemical, physical and a mechanicalcharacterization. She Lead an investment project: rehabilitation and development of alloys laboratory in Iraqi Organization of Atomic Energy.
2002-2007 during her Ph.D. education, she focused in the bonding of alumina to Inconel 600 using interlayer and the parameters affecting bond quality, using finite element analysis to simulate the optimize bond strength from residual stress analysis.
At 2007 – 2010 as Head of thin film department and associate head ofcrystal growth and thin-film center, Ministry of Science and Technology. Baghdad, Iraq, she focused in: Nanomaterials synthesis for a different application. Lead teams to rehabilitate our systems in Atomic Energy Organization andMinistry of Science and Technology that affected by the war conditions. Participation in the construction of a plasma glow discharge systems. Participation in a training course about safety in the chemical and physicallaboratories during her visit to the University of California - United States ofAmerica in 2012. Worked in micro-fluidic technology transfer during her visit to United States ofAmerica 2012, and employed these devices to detect heavy elements in water.
During 2010 – 2013 and as a head of surfaces engineering department in Ministry of Science and Technology. Baghdad, Iraq she lead plasma processing team.Conduct researches in materials surface modification likecoating stainless steel with diamond-like carbon to improve their biologicalcompatibility with the human body. Synthesis of ZnO nano-wires and characterization them. Synthesis of Nano-materials for thin film application. 2013 – Present she worked as hydrogen energy team leaderin the field of solid-state hydrogenstorage.Conduct research in water splitting to generate hydrogen using photo-electrochemical cell and nano-wires photo-anode. Conduct research in improving water splitting using traditional electrolyzer.Electrolyzer design and modified electrode surface to enhance their hydrogen generation.Worked in the laboratories of the chemical corrosion of materials during my visit tothe Chinese Academy of Sciences laboratories 2013. Conduct research in different kinds of a fuel cell, MFC, AFC, PEMFC.
