Wen Zhang

Senior Research Scientist

Dr. Zhang has been invited by several editors-in-chief of top-level journals in the field to act on editorial board member and associate editors such as European Review for Medical and Pharmacological Sciences, Journal of Genetics and Genetic Engineering, International Journal of Computing Science and Mathematics, Journal of Computer Engineering, etc. He would be invited several times by different journals to give a review or opinion articles every month. Recognition of his expertise can be illustrated also by many invitations per month for reviewing and contributing papers for the most prestigious international conferences.

His publications have been cited more than 190 times by leading scientists all around the world. The publications have been cited by other researchers from more than 300 research centers located in 43 countries and territories.He has been invited to referee papers for the recognized biomedical and optimization journal, the Oncotarget, Journal of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology, Medical  Science Monitor, Journal of Nutrigenetics and Nutrigenomics, Experimental and Therapeutic Medicine,  the optimal Control Applications and Methods, Future Generation Computer Systems. He has been invited to referee papers for the most recognized biomedical and mathematical conferences such as International Seminar on Computational Intelligence, Engineering and Technology (SCIET), The International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Robots (AIR), etc.

His current research is supported by grants from major governmental agencies like U.S. National Institute of Health (NIH), American Psychiatric Association (APA), etc. His research resulted in 44 publications (8 were submitted and under review, 36 are published) in computational mathematics, optimal control, bioinformatics and computational genetics journals; and two of them are review papers. One of them is the book chapter.  He has peer-reviewed more than 270 papers.
