Beginning her career as an international baccalaureate prepared and licensed nurse, Dr. Amarachi went on to become an advanced practice registered nurse after receiving the required graduate nursing education. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from Chatham University, a Master of Science in Nursing (Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner specialty track) degree from the University of Cincinnati, and a Bachelor of Nursing Science degree from Babcock University. She also earned a Post-Doctoral Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certificate from Brandman University and a Post-Master’s Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate from St. Joseph’s College.

She routinely volunteers her time at a local free medical clinic where she started a Women’s Clinic in January 2015 to care for the homeless and uninsured. She strongly believes that technology has a huge role to play in providing more access to healthcare services for patients who live in underserved areas; especially those dealing with mental health issues.
