Hamid Moghaddasi, an associate professor, holds a Ph.D. in Health Information Management and post-doctorate in Medical Informatics. He is a faculty member of Department of Health Information Technology and Management at the College of Paramedical Sciences, ShahidBeheshti University of Medical Sciences, and a member of Medical Informatics Board of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education in Iran. Also, he is president of the Iranian Association of Medical Informatics.
Dr.Moghaddasi is actively involved in classroom instruction. He teaches numerous courses on health information management; medical informatics; and management to university students at undergraduate and graduate levels. He additionally conducts scholarly research activities. He supervises students' theses and dissertations at master and Ph.D. levels. He has published numerous articles on health information management; Medical Informatics; and E-health in scholarly journals.
