The International Conference and Exhibition on Nursing aim to share information and skill of nursing, midwifery and healthcare personnel all over the world and to influence and inspire students and professionals to work for social care needs of their respective communities.

The unique function of the nurse is to assist the individual, sick or well, in the performance of those activities contributing to health or its recovery that he would perform unaided if he had the necessary strength, will or knowledge.

Hello! I’m Dr. Jill Beavers-Kirby and I am pleased to welcome you to the 2nd International Conference and Exhibition on Nursing. This year’s theme is “Exploring the latest innovations and advancing practices in nursing and global health technologies.”
I have been a healthcare provider for 33 years and for the past 14 years, I’ve been a Nurse Practitioner. I have seen so many changes in healthcare that I’ve lost count!
We can all agree that healthcare is constantly changing and as nurses, midwives, and other healthcare professionals, it is extremely important that we keep ourselves up to date on the latest innovations that will impact the face of healthcare and how we interact with all healthcare consumers.
As a nurse, my interaction with my client can mean life or death. Having the most up to date information about my client is imperative. Oftentimes, this means having access to the latest innovations in practice and having access to global health technologies.
At the 2nd International Conference and Exhibition on Nursing, you will learn all about these latest innovations and advancing practices in nursing!
I will be discussing the care of the patient with chronic pain. As the opioid epidemic in the United States continues to worsen, knowing the salient points of care that are unique to the healthcare consumer will empower all healthcare providers to provide the best care possible.
Often, care of the chronic pain sufferer is not siloed into just the chronic pain patient. The family members of the chronic pain sufferer are also part of the healthcare team. In today’s pain management climate, the healthcare provide cannot simply give the chronic pain sufferer opioid pain medications and pretend that the chronic pain sufferer is receiving the best possible care.
