Learn From The Experts
Successfull societies always respected what the wise can teach us. But it's not easy to learn directly from people whose grasp of any subject well exceeds our own, in part because person-to-person learning is easily supplanted by engagement. Real learning is like a spark transferred. The amount and quality of practice predicts expertise, yet optimal conditions of practice have primarily been explored with self-scheduled learners.
