The 2nd International Conference and Exhibition on Cancer & Therapeutics (ICECT San Diego 2018) represents the interests of oncology professionals and promotes the multidisciplinarity of the field .The organisation connects the cancer community by leveraging knowledge, promoting education and building awareness. ICECT also plays an important role in engaging with policymakers to promote the interests of cancer patients, research as well all other members of the oncocommunity.The organisation is renowned for its prestigious biennial series of multidisciplinary congresses.
It was consequently decided to bring together major players in cancer research, treatment, and care in order to create awareness of patients’ wishes and needs, encourage progressive thinking in cancer policy, education, and training, and continue to promote cancer research and its application through the organisation of a multidisciplinary conference called ICECT -the International Conference and Exhibition on Cancer & Therapeutics.

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the International Conference and Exhibition on Cancer and Therapeutics, San Diego Nov 26-28 2018.Cancer San Diego 2018 is a dedicated conference to discuss the most recent innovations and achievements in research, prevention, diagnosis and treatment in oncology. The Cancer San Diego 2018 includes many multidisciplinary scientific conferences, oral and poster presentations and new technologies exhibitions from all over the world in one place. As a scientific committee member and a radiology-nuclear medicine specialist, I am looking forward to welcome you personally in Cancer San Diego 2018. I encourage everyone who specialised in Oncology field to join us in Cancer San Diego 2018. You can update yourself in whatever the current preclinical and clinical issues are, exchange experience and information with eminent OCM, communicate and make new friends with influencers such type. When I reviewed some abstracts, I was impressed by the creativity and originalities that you feel them in each corner of these abstracts.
ICECT Welcome Message for the Session "Cancer Genomics, Epigenetic and Genomic Instability" By Dr. Yi-Hong Zhou
In review of our past cancer treatment, from the first chemotherapy 76 years ago, the evolution of cancer therapeutics has advanced towards multi-agent chemotherapy, radiation, and targeted therapeutic agents, as well as the new generation of immunotherapy in the recent past. All this has made us sophisticated cancer cell killers. However, we have gained limited success, especially in treating patients with advanced stages of solid malignancy. The failure of our cancer therapy is mostly due to cancer recurrence, in local and/or distant sites. The instability of cancer genomics and the resultant intra-tumoral heterogeneity has long been recognized as cancer hallmarks. Only the last decade, it has been linked to cancer progression and plasticity which has resisted the combined cytoreductive and toxic therapies. Although currently we have no way to disarm cancer cells from cancer re-establishment, we have started to gain insight into the robustness of cancer, originating from the instability of cancer genomics and the control of its dynamic state of tumor subpopulations in making cancer a successful society. These new insights of cancer evolution could explain the failure of our attempts to simply kill cancer cells without interfering with cancer cells to re-generate and re-organize cancer’s societal structure. Further understanding of the driving force of cancer re-establishment by the transformed cancer cells are the key to success in future cancer therapy.

It is my great pleasure to welcome you at the 2nd International Conference and Exhibition on Cancer & Therapeutics, San Diego, CA, November 26-28, 2018. Cancer San Diego 2018 is dedicated to showcase the recent discoveries, innovations and achievements in research, prevention, diagnosis and treatment in oncology. Because of multi-factorial nature of cancer, Cancer San Diego 2018 has included multidisciplinary scientific conferences to be presented in 24 Scientific Tracks divided in scientific sessions, oral and poster presentations and presentation of new technologies from all over the world. Cancer San Diego 2018 is for everyone - academicians, oncologists, hematologists, radiologists, radiotherapists, students and faculty from all levels and from all branches of science. There will be ample opportunities for participants to networking. In addition, San Diego is a culturally diverse vibrant city with many attractions, so spend some time before or after the conference to enjoy San Diego.
